The 2009 Rose was made from Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes that were picked at their peak for maximum varietal characteristics. Aromas and flavours of strawberries, cherries and passion fruit split are evident. The wine has a good balance of sweetness to acid and has a lingering clean finish. Merlot Rouge has distinctive varietal characteristics of the Merlot variety with aromas and flavours of cherries and plum. Merlot Rouge has retained some it’s sweetness and with balanced acidity provides a crisp clean finish. This wine is medium bodied and was matured in oak for 12 months.
